Northwestern University’s Jeremy Gilbert is Medill’s Knight Professor in Digital Media Strategy and oversees the Knight Lab. His research focuses on experimental technologies and strategies for media companies, including AI for journalism. He also founded the Data-Driven Reporting Project and the NextGenNews project. Previously, Gilbert was The Washington Post’s Director of Strategic Initiatives and National Geographic’s Deputy Editor, Digital.
